My name is Shaelyn Wadden, but most people just call me Shae. I am a photographer from Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. My skills as a photographer are very adaptable to different types of work, but my personal works revolves around mental health, co-existing with the important people in my life. These works often surround my friends, family, and, more specifically, my three amazing brothers. My brothers mean the world to me, and have each helped me grow into the adaptive, paitent and resillient person I am today.
I have always been obsessed with everything to do with art and creating, and as a result I was a very messy child, but it also lead me to studying at NSCAD University. Although I enjoy a varity of mediums, my heart lies with my camera. When I was a kid, if I didn't have a marker or crayon in my hand, I probably had my moms camera. Although the photos I took when I was 8 weren't great, that didn't stop me. With time, practice and patience, I grew to be the person that I am today.
